Executive Committee


Chapter Relations Committee

  • Meeting Dates and Times:  
    • Last Wednesday of every month at 9:00 a.m. PST (for call in information Email Us)
  • Description:
    • Provide ongoing communication and support for existing and emerging Chapters in the US Affiliate
  • Mission Statement:
    • Develop the tools, policies and resources to empower Chapters to be self-sustaining
  • Goals and Objectives for 2012:
    1. Establish structure and financial practices for all Chapters
    2. Establish regular Committee meeting dates and members
    3. Update Chapter pages on the US Affiliate website
    4. Identify target areas and core teams for new Chapters

Communications Committee

  • Description:
    • The charge of this Committee is to build a thriving web presence that supports all internal and external functions of IAP2 USA, to inspire and enable the IAP2 USA community to tell its story of high-quality public participation, and to help establish IAP2 USA as one of the leading voices and go-to destinations for public participation in the United States and beyond.

Membership Recruitment and Retention Committee

  • Meeting Dates and Times:
    • Second Wednesday of every month at 1:00 p.m. PST (for call in information Email Us)
  • Description:
    • The charge of this Committee is to focus on campaigns to recruit new members and ensuring new members receive adequate information about the organization.

Strategic Alliance Committee

    • This Committee is in charge of creating collaborative relationships with other organizations, engaging in national dialogue and managing presentation and speaker requests.
