Grand Canyon Chapter

Geographical Region: The Grand Canyon Chapter covers the state of Arizona.

With approximately 30 members and a network bubble of 200 interested parties, the Grand Canyon Chapter is always excited to gain more members!

Past Projects:

2009- the Chapter sponsored two officers to attend the Chapter Leadership Conference in Vancouver.
The Grand Canyon Chapter developed a Strategic Plan in line with the 2009 IAP2 strategic plan.
Members attended the International Conference in San Diego, CA.
Hosting of socials in Tucson, Flagstaff and Phoenix.
Developed a blog to engage our members in the Affiliation discussion.
Hosted the North American Affiliation Symposium in Phoenix in January 2011.
2009- In concert with the City of Peoria, The Grand Canyon Chapter hosted PACE: Positive Action through Civic Engagement. This one-day conference on "Authentic Public Participation," featured local keynote speakers in the field of civic engagement and practical exercises in various IAP2 tools and techniques.
