The 2025 conference theme "Empowering Voices, Inspiring Participation" is about amplifying varied perspectives, fostering welcoming dialogue, and creating meaningful engagement that drives positive change. It’s about equipping individuals and communities with the tools, confidence, and opportunities to make their voices heard and their participation impactful.

The IAP2 North American Conference (NAC) is a 2.5-day event featuring workshops, keynote speakers, engaging sessions, celebrations, community building, knowledge sharing, and networking with fellow engagement practitioners.

What better place to gather than San Antonio, Texas? The 2025 North American Conference will bring together hundreds of public participation leaders from all levels of government, private industry, education, environment, health, transportation, academia, and community-based organizations from across North America and beyond.

Early registration ends June 30, 2025

  • Full registration includes access to all sessions and meal functions listed on agenda
  • One-day registration includes sessions and meal functions for the selected day
  • Pre-conference workshops require separate registration and will have an additional fee

Guest Room Rate: $239.00 plus 18% tax

Reservations must be made by Monday, September 8, 2025 or until room block is full.

Cancellation Policy

  • All refund requests must be made in writing to info@iap2usa.org
  • Refund requests made before August 28, 2025 will receive the full registration rate minus a 10% processing fee
  • No refunds will be given after August 28, 2025
  • If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your registration to another participant. Substitution requests must received by September 26, 2025
  • Membership dues added through the bundled conference registration rate are nonrefundable
