Chapter Priorities
The Colorado Chapter held a visioning workshop open to all members in April 2024 during which we created the following strategic focus areas:

  • Recognize culture challenges (e.g., navigating hostile crowds and misinformation)
  • Support DEI best practices
  • Improve leadership and decision-maker understanding of public participation
  • Advance career development for members

You're invited to be part of the 2026 Colorado Chapter Summit at Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood. Whether you're new to public participation or an experienced practitioner, this Summit is an opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired. Meet colleagues from across Colorado, including the Eastern Plains, the Front Range, Metropolitan Denver, the Mountain communities, and the Western Slope, as we share ideas, explore real world challenges, and celebrate the power of meaningful community engagement.
