Engagement - Boulder Style!

The City of Boulder will host a field trip, leaving from the Westin Hotel at 11:00 am and returning at 4:00 pm. Special early conference registration will be made available for those who register.

The excursion will highlight the community engagement plan associated with the Chautauqua Access Management Plan and the city's efforts to utilize volunteerism as a community engagement strategy. The trip will also include an opportunity to tour the Boulder community aboard the Banjo Billy Bus and to experience the Colorado Chautauqua. If time allows, a short hike up to the majestic flatirons will be included--for those who are interested.

Dress comfortably and enjoy the Boulder experience while you learn about the city's approach to community engagement to problem-solving and in everyday interaction. Costs will be in addition to conference registration, at $60/per person; only the first 14 can be accommodated.
